Todd Laxson, PGA

As a native of El Paso County, Todd grew up in the junior golf community of Southern Colorado. Golf has been in his life for as long as he can remember and he believes very strongly that golf is his conduit to positively impacting his community.  Being the proud dad of two young boys, youth programming in the community he lives in is important and he wants to get involved in as many ways as he can.

Todd is the former Director of Golf at Cherokee Ridge where he also served as the lead instructor for Pikes Peak Golf Links and the programs they run at Cherokee Ridge, including Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind as well as Pikes Peak Linkers, a 240 player program. He is the former head coach for the UCCS Women’s golf team and he serves as the president of the professional committee that steers Pikes Peak Junior Golf, a stroke play event series geared towards players from 10-18 years of age. In 2017, Todd was awarded the Colorado PGA Section Youth Player development award and he completed his certified professional program through the PGA in teaching and coaching, a distinction that only 10% of PGA Professionals have completed. Todd is proud of his accomplishments but his greatest achievement was convincing his wife to marry him.
