Sarah Birkel has held various finance roles for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee since July 2010. She is currently responsible for the financial operations of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Foundation which includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, accounting and financial strategy. Her experience with the organization includes time spent working with Risk Management, US Paralympics and federal funding, and financial analysis.
Sarah is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degree in Finance. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She completed the Team USA Leadership Certificate Program through the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She resides with her family in Monument, Colorado.
