Jeff Stedman is the owner and President of an independent movie theatre company, Picture Show Entertainment, primarily operating discount movie theatres in major metropolitan markets. He moved to Colorado Springs in 2006 to be the CFO of Young Life for three years, an International youth ministry. Prior to moving to Colorado Springs, Mr. Stedman was a finance executive for fast growing start-up companies. During the 1990’s, Mr. Stedman was the CFO of Cinemark theatres. During this time, Cinemark grew 10 fold to become a billion dollar international movie theatre company. In his role, Mr. Stedman raised in excess of $1 billion in public and private financings to fund Cinemark’s rapid growth. He served on the board of directors for Cinemark as well as all of its International subsidiaries.
In 2000, Mr. Stedman moved to Austin, Texas to be the CFO and COO of Works, Inc., a technology start-up that developed a web-based applications that interfaced with the world-wide credit card network to manage purchasing cards. This company was sold to Bank of America. After leaving Works, Inc. in 2003, Mr. Stedman started Picture Show Entertainment.
Mr. Stedman earned a BBA in Finance and MS in Accounting from the University of North Texas. He is a passionate golfer and member of The Broadmoor Golf Club, which he enjoys with his wife of 25 years, Lisa and his son, Ryan.
