Gavin Gallagher

Gavin Gallagher is a Program Coordinator for First Tee – Southern Colorado. In this role, he supports program and curriculum development, plans and promotes programming, assists with instruction, and helps manage day-to-day operations at various First Tee locations. Gavin also plays a key role in coordinating volunteers, maintaining course access, and ensuring the overall safety and success of First Tee’s youth development programs.

Gavin is a Colorado Springs native who is deeply committed to serving and uplifting his home community. His passion for youth development was shaped early on through his experience with First Tee — Southern Colorado, where he participated in some of the very first programs offered in Colorado Springs. He credits the organization with instilling strong values and providing meaningful role models that have had a lasting impact on his life.

After graduating from Coronado High School, Gavin pursued a variety of career paths, all rooted in his desire to help others. His professional background includes work as a firefighter, mail carrier, and CNC machinist. Along the way, he remained dedicated to community engagement by volunteering in local schools to give firefighting demonstrations and coaching his high school’s climbing team.

Although these roles were meaningful, Gavin found himself continually drawn to work that more closely aligned with his passion for mentorship and youth development. That opportunity came when he reconnected with First Tee while volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Inspired by the organization’s mission and the impact it had on his own life, he was excited to join the team and now takes pride in helping create similar experiences for the next generation.

Outside of his professional role, Gavin enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. You can often find him on the golf course, both traditional and disc, or snowboarding during the winter months. He is also an avid music fan who enjoys attending concerts, and in his downtime, he embraces his creative and curious side through video games, books, and sketching.
