First Tee — Southern Colorado’s Playing It Safe Guidelines

First Tee is committed to the safety of participants, parents, coaches, volunteers, and staff. Below are guidelines that we are putting into place in order to deliver a safe learning environment for our participants:

Check-in and Check-out

  • Participants must not arrive more than 15 minutes before class
  • Participants will be given their nametag (to include their specific color group) on the first day and it is the responsibility of the participant to bring their nametag to each class
  • If a participant has a cough, fever, running nose, etc.  they will not be permitted to attend class

Classes

  • Class activities will fully observe social distancing guidelines and all safety measures
  • Everyone MUST wear a face covering at all times
  • Participants must bring their own prefilled water bottle that can easily be identified with initials or other marks
  • Participants will ONLY handle their own clubs (no sharing). If a player does not have a set of clubs, First Tee will provide a set of clubs for them to use for the duration of the session. Participants must bring their clubs home and to class each week
  • All supplies and equipment will be cleaned and disinfected before and after class
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for each class

Staff and Coaches

  • Staff and Coaches will be required to wear face masks
  • Staff and coaches will clean and disinfect class area and equipment at the end of each session
  • Reinforce social distancing requirements for guests through positive dialogue and education

Due to the fluidity of the circumstances, there may be additional modifications, and we will communicate those changes as soon as possible.
