Chris Kosor is the Business Development Manager at First Tee — Southern Colorado. as the Business Development Manager, Chris is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of First Tee — Southern Colorado’s fundraising, including grant writing, individual donor giving, corporate solicitations, and special event coordination, as well as assisting with marketing and communications activities.
Chris was born in the Philippines, as the son of an Air Force family, before growing up in South Florida. Chris then attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he began his career in Hotel Management.
Over the course of his 15+ year career in the hospitality industry, Chris has worked for a number of different brands such as Hilton’s, Marriott’s, and Boutique Brands. He has spent the last four years working for the Origin Hotel collection, where he served as General Manager for the first hotel in the collection, Origin Hotel Red Rocks in Golden Colorado, and later moved to Austin, TX to open the newest hotel in the collection, Origin Hotel Austin in 2021.
Chris, his wife Christa, and their dog Gus returned to Colorado in March of 2023 and loves to brag that he has lived in seven different states, but Colorado is the only one he has lived in TWICE! Chris is currently working to seek his MBA at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and when he is not working he is usually found on the golf course or a hike with his family.
